TS ICET Exam Pattern: Overall and Sectional Time Limit

Just like any other competitive exam, the TS ICET exam will also be conducted in a fixed time span. This means that all candidates will have to solve the entire question paper in 2 hours and 30 minutes. They must ensure that they attempt all the questions in all the sections. Here are all the sections that candidates will be tested upon.

TS ICET Exam Duration

As discussed above, all candidates must complete the test in a fixed duration, i.e. 2 hours and 30 minutes. The best part about this exam is that the candidates have the liberty to attempt the questions in the order of their choice. With three sections, candidates will have approximately 50 minutes at hand to complete all the questions. It is up to the candidate to plan how they need to attempt the paper and then move ahead.

TS ICET Marking Scheme

If you are taking the TS ICET examination, you must be aware of the marking scheme which will give you an idea about the exam pattern. Here is the TS ICET marking scheme that will help you understand the TS ICET exam pattern 2024:

  • The total marks for the TS ICET exam is 200.
  • Each question is of 1 mark.
  • There is no negative marking in the TS ICET exam for any wrong answer.
  • Moreover, no marks will be deducted for incorrect responses and unattempted questions.
  • All the questions in the TS ICET exam will be in the form of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

The fee to take the TS ICET 2024 exam is INR 740. 

Who is eligible for TS ICET?

All candidates from the General ctageory must achieve a minimum of 25% marks, equivalent to 50 out of 200 to take the TS ICET exam. While, the reserved category candidates, i.e. SC/ST don’t have any specified minimum qualifying marks to take the TS ICET exam.
