MAT
Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is one of the most popular exams that happens every year. More than 600 institutes accept its scorecard for admission to management programs. This exam is conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA). For all those who don’t know, the MAT exam is held four times a year — February, May, September and December. It is held in the form of a Computer Based Test (CBT).

This entrance exam is conducted by Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur. For all those unaware, this exam is conducted on the first Saturday of January. This year, the exam date was conducted on 7 January 2024.

MAH-CET

This state-level examination is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra. By taking this exam, the candidate can get admission to several courses, such as MBA, MMS, PGDBM and PGDM courses in various colleges in the state of Maharashtra.

Yes, the registration process for the CMAT exam is currently ongoing and recently the date for registering has been extended to 23 April 2024.
Both exams are comparatively tough to clear as compared to other MBA exams. However, many candidates find the XAT exam more tough to clear due to the decision-making session and the Verbal section.
