SRCC Global Business Operations Exam, also referred to as the SRCC GBO Exam is a management entrance exam predominantly conducted to enroll prospective candidates in one of the most esteemed and premium institutes of India, i.e., Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC).

SRCC GBO 2023 Latest Updates

The application window for the SRCC GBO 2023 exam (CBT) is expected to start in late November month 2023. Candidates who will submit the application successfully will get the chance to download the scorecard. More details about the exam will be updated here after the updates are announced. 

SRCC GBO Exam 2024 Dates

SRCC GBO Exam Application

The registration window for the SRCC GBO 2024 Exam will open between 28 November 2023  to 12 January 2024. However, this is just a tentative date. Candidates can fill out their application by using their relevant credentials during the registration procedure.

How to Apply for the SRCC GBO Exam? 

Perspective candidates had to follow the given steps to complete their registration process. One can even implement the mentioned steps the next time he/she thinks of applying for the said exam, i.e., SRCC GBO 2024.   1. In order to commence the registration procedure, prospective candidates have to first visit the official website of SRCC. 
  2. There they’ll find an active link with the option of GBO Admissions 2024. Candidates were required to click on the same option. 
  3. Applicants need to fill in their relevant credentials, including their name, mobile number, date of birth, email id and gender. 
  4. Once done, applicants need to click the ‘Register’ option simply. 
  5. Applicants will get a username and password after clicking on the Register button. 
  6. Now fill up the required details, upload their original documents and pay the requisite registration fee to complete the application procedure. 

SRCC GBO Exam Application Fee

Prospective candidates need to pay the required application fee to complete their registration. Candidates from the General and OBC category need to pay a fee of INR 2,500. Individuals from other countries were also required to pay the same amount. Reserve category students (SC, ST, PwD, CW, and EWS categories) need to pay a registration fee of INR 1,500.

SRCC GBO Eligibility Criteria

The primary objective of conducting bodies specifying fixed eligibility criteria is to evaluate and ascertain the candidate’s academic prowess and competence. Similarly, even the SRCC GBO Exam encompasses its own eligibility requirements that must be fulfilled by the candidates in order to be considered eligible. Below, we have mentioned the SRCC GBO eligibility including age limit and educational qualification.

Education- Candidates aspiring to partake in the SRCC GBO Exam in the upcoming year can do so even if they are in their final year of graduation, awaiting their results. In such a case, one can apply provisionally for the said exam. To be deemed eligible, applicants must procure the mark sheets of Class 10, Class 12, and Graduation. Also they need to have other academic documents.

Eligibility Criteria for Domestic Candidates

It is imperative for candidates to secure a minimum aggregate score of 50% (General in their graduation examination to be considered eligible. Candidates belonging to the SC, ST, or PwD (DA) categories are required to secure at least 45% marks in their graduation. 

Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Nationals 

Candidates who are not Indian citizens by birth, or are ‘Foreign Nationals’ are not required to take the online SRCC GBO exam. Instead, they will be selected on the basis of their High School marks ( weightage of 10%), Senior Secondary Marks (weightage of 25%), Graduation Marks (60%), Statement of Purpose (weightage of 5%), and an essay of  “Globalization in Business Context”. 

SRCC GBO Exam Pattern 

To expedite and devise a strategy for their preparation, candidates must adhere to the specific pattern for any given exam. Being acquainted with a foreordained exam pattern can aid applicants in designing their own feasible framework for preparation. Aspirants can employ such schematics to schedule and allocate their time. 

Coming to the SRCC GBO EXAM, this computer-based test encompasses 160 objective-based questions. The exam is predominantly demarcated into four primary sections and carries a total of 640 marks. For every correct answer, candidates are rewarded with +4 marks, while a 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect one.

Candidates prospecting to get admitted into SRCC’s PG Diploma Programme will have to qualify for the SRCC GBO exam, Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds. Refer to the table below to understand the section-wise weightage.

SRCC GBO Admit Card

Candidates who want to appear in the SRCC GBO 2024 Examination can download their admit cards before the examination date to help the authorities with their verification and identification procedure. Aspirants can download their admit cards from the conducting body’s official body. 

In other words, the institute has a strict policy to publish the admit card solely via online methods. It is imperative for prospective candidates to acquire their login credentials to download their Admit Cards.

  • Candidates prospecting to sit for the SRCC GBO EXAM must visit the conducting body’s official website.
  • Once redirected to the page, candidates will be able to see the option of ‘GBO Admission’.

Prior to giving the said examination, prospective candidates can go through the released mock test to prepare themselves better. The mock test for the exam 2023 got out on 17th January.
