PAT Exam 2023 or Praxis Admission Test application process is closed now. Candidates who have successfully submitted their application form will get admit card to appear in July 2023 intake exam. Interested candidates can now download the PAT Exam admit card 2023 to pursue academics from Praxis Business School. Earlier, the Praxis Business School commenced the application process in November 2022 and the exam was conducted in the early months of 2023. Students should keep following the official website to get the latest update for this exam.

PAT Exam 2023 Dates

Praxis Business School is announced a few important dates for the PAT exam 2023. As per the schedule, the candidates need to submit their application form in the month of April and the last date is 29 April 2023. However, the exam conducting body has not announced anything about the exam date. The expected date PAT exam is in the month of June 2023.

PAT Exam 2023 Exam Pattern

PAT Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for the exam, candidates must first fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the conducting body. The eligibility criteria for the PAT exam are discussed below:

  • Candidates must have passed their BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (with Mathematics or Statistics as a compulsory subject) with a minimum of 60% marks from a government-recognised institute/university/deemed to be a university. However, graduates from any other streams are also eligible to appear for the PAT 2023, considering they must have mathematics or statistics as a compulsory subject.
  • Postgraduate candidates applying must have passed their ME/M.Tech/M.Sc/MBA/PGDM (with mathematics or statistics as a compulsory subject) with a minimum of 60% marks from a government-recognised institute/university/deemed to be a university.
  • Applying candidates must have passed their 10th and 12th with a minimum of 60% marks.  

Apart from this, the age limit to apply for the PAT exam 2023 is set by the university itself. Candidates who are less than 17 years are not eligible to apply for admission here. Also, the upper age limit for GNM and ANM courses is 30 and 35 years respectively.

PAT Exam 2023 Application Process

The application form is now available on the official website of the Praxis Business School for the admission session 2023. The candidates have to visit the website and register themselves. Given below are the details of the entire application process.

  • Step 1: To begin with the registration, enter the details correctly- name, mobile number, and email ID.
  • Step 2: As soon as you enter your details, you will receive an OTP, enter OTP.
  • Step 3: Next up, enter your personal details such as the state and city you belong to, your academic qualifications and your enquiry.
  • Step 4: Once you are registered, enter your additional details as asked in the portal. Once the details are filled up, click on submit.
  • Step 5: Log in to your portal with the same login credentials and submit the application fee. After the successful payment of the application fee, download the digital copy of the payment receipt and keep it for later reference.

Application Fee

The candidates are required to pay an application fee to successfully register themselves for the PAT exam 2023. The amount of the application fee is INR 1500. The payment of the application fee can only be made online through a debit card, credit card, and net banking. 

PAT Exam 2023 Admit Card

The admit card for the PAT exam 2023 will be released online and candidates are advised to download the admit card immediately once it becomes available. The admit card is a must requirement while appearing for the entrance test from home through online auto-proctored mode. The admit card will contain a photograph of the candidate and instructions. The admit card should be retained till the end of the admission process by the candidate.

PAT Exam 2023 Preparation Tips

Candidates appearing for the PAT exam 2023 are overwhelmed with the tips and tricks that are available online. Some of these trips are not even relevant to the examination and end up doing more harm than good. Accordingly, here are preparation tips which are actually useful for candidates without overburdening them with a series of advice:

  • While preparing for the PAT exam 2023, candidates should prepare a timetable that focuses on each subject/section, covers the entire syllabus, and enhances their test-taking skills without consuming too much time. 
  • Candidates must work on their time management skills as the duration of the PAT exam 2023 is only 2 hours (120 minutes) and the candidates will have to attempt all the questions within the time duration. So divide the time judiciously between each section. 
  • Give each subject at least 2 hours a day, add a sample question paper based on the individual sections of the entrance exam and give 15 minutes at least to practise sessions daily.

The result of the PAT exam 2023 is expected to be released shortly after the entrance examination is conducted. Candidates can check their results on their portal by login in using the credential received at the time of registration. Additionally, candidates will be informed about their shortlisting as well for the next rounds of essay writing and personal interview.

PAT Exam 2023 Selection Process

Subsequent to the entrance examination, there are two stages of the selection process which are noted below: 

  1. Essay writing – During this stage, candidates will be provided with a topic on which they will be required to put forth their opinions in written form within the given word limit. 
  2. Personal interview – Candidates will also have face-to-face interaction with the faculty. 

The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the PAT exam 2023. Based on the results, a merit list will be prepared. The selected candidates will be called for the essay writing stage ater which the selected candidates will be called for the personal interview. 


What is the application fee for the PAT exam?

The fee for the PAT exam is INR 1500. This fee can be paid online by using online payment methods like Credit or Debit card or UPI.
