Telangana State Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) is a state-level examination conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) on behalf of the Telangana state council of Higher Education (TSCHE). The entrance examination is for admissions into PG courses in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Pharmacy, and graduate-level pharma courses at various universities in Telangana.

TS PGECET Latest Updates 2023

As the exam was successfully conducted in the months of May and June for the various subjects. The admission procedure is continued since then. The last date to submit the response sheets was on various dates in the first week of June 2023. The last date to submit objections to the answer key was also the same as that of the availability of the response sheet. The rank card for the examination has been released by the authorities. The dates for the counselling process will be announced soon.

The notification for the TS PGECET Exam 2023 was released on the 28th of February 2023. The notification released was for admission to various courses in the academic year of 2023-2024. The notification addressed the dates of commencement of filling out the online application forms and various deadlines associated with it.

The exam dates for the PGECET exam were notified in the official notice released by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) regarding the commencement of the examination. TS PGECET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria for the TS PGECET exam. Interested candidates should fulfil the same to be able to sit for the examination

• Should be an Indian citizen holding Telangana’s domicile certificate. 
• Should be more than 20 years of age. 
• Should have completed BE/B.Tech/MPharm course from a recognized institution.
• General category candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% in the qualifying examination. The reserved category candidates require 45% for the same.
• Candidates who are appearing for the final semester examination of the qualifying degree can also apply for this examination.

How to Fill the Application Form?

A candidate can fill out the PGECET application form by following the steps mentioned below.

• Pay the required fee depending upon your category for the TS PGECET examination.
• Fill out the details required in the form and register yourself. It includes filling out your payment reference ID, qualifying examination to admit card number and date of birth.
• Once the registration is complete login to your account.
• Fill out your personal details such as minority certificate, caste certificate, income certificate, and so on.
• Upload your documents. The signature should be less than 30 kb and the photograph less than 50 kb in JPEG/PG format.
• Finally, the candidate can submit the application form after reviewing the details entered.

The admit card is available by the name of a Hall Ticket on the official website of the exam. Hall Ticket was made available on the website from the 21st of May 2023 onwards. Here are the steps to download the TS PGECET Admit Card.

5. Enter the details such as registration number, DoB and exam subject.

All the shortlisted candidates will be called for the TS PGECET counselling session. The same would be held tentatively in July 2023. The counselling process will include registration and choice filling, allotment of seats, and reporting. At this stage, the document of the candidate will also be verified.
