AEES Teacher Exam Pattern

The written exam will be the first round of the AEES PRT exam, and the skill test will be the second, according to the notification. Candidates must pass both of them by earning points above the required AEES PRT cut-off scores. Here is how both rounds will be conducted.

Writing Test

Writing a test is the first step in clearing this exam. All candidates are required to clear this round in order to move to the second round, i.e. skill test.

  • Only the online format will be used for the AEES PRT exam.
  • One hundred questions will be on the test.
  • According to the scoring system, the correct response will receive one mark, while incorrect responses will not receive any deductions.
  • The exam’s questions will be based on the previously recommended NCERT curriculum.

Skill Test

The skill exam must be a qualification of some sort and must be administered on a “Go/No Go” basis. A test of teaching abilities using chalk and a board shall be administered. The candidates will be assigned a topic that is related to their field.

Candidates must show the committee their aptitude for teaching. From the list of candidates who qualified for each post in the CBT, in order of merit, the following number of candidates will be summoned for the skill test.
