The Xavier General Management Aptitude Test (XGMT) is conducted by Xavier University, Bhubaneswar (XUB). The exam is computer-based and it will be held in various cities in India. XGMT Exam Latest Updates 2023 

The online registration for XGMT Examination is closed. The exam will be conducted in Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai on January 29, 2023. The results will be announced in February 2023 tentatively. 

XGMT Exam 2023 Important Dates 

Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the date scheme released by the exam conducting authority. The extended date for application was January 10, 2023. Refer to the table below for admit card release date and result declaration dates.

XGMT Exam Pattern

The XGMT exam pattern includes Multiple Choice Questions with four subject categories. A negative marking for each wrong answer will be applicable. The exam will be conducted in English. Candidates will get 120 minutes (2 hours) to complete their exams. Here is the section-wise bifurcation of subjects, number of questions and time duration given for each section.

XGMT Exam Syllabus 

For  XGMT examination, the candidates need to prepare Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, General Awareness and Emotional quotient. Here are the section-wise subjects and topics that are needed to be covered in depth. Refer to the table below.

Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning Bar graphs, pie charts, tables, data sufficiency, analogies, blood relations, cubes and cuboids, cause and effect, clocks, critical paths, directions, calendars, line graphs, input and output, coding and decoding, artificial language etc. 
Verbal Ability Reading comprehension, phrases, grammar, vocabulary, verbal reasoning, idioms, analogies, one-word substitution, subject-verb agreement, contextual usage, sentence rearrangement etc. 
General Awareness and Emotional Quotient Government policies, situation questions, reaction and failure, cultural sensitivity, managing emotions, personality traits, current news, leadership positions etc. 

XGMT Exam Admit Card 2023

The exam conducting authority will release the admit card just a few days before the examination. Visit the official website and log in with your XGMT registration ID and password. Click on the blinking tab labelled ‘Admit Card’. Download the admit card and take out at least 2  printed copies for future reference. Candidates have to carry their admit card to the examination hall on the day of the examination. 

XGMT Exam Selection Process 2023 

The selection process will be based on the cut-off marks released by the exam conducting authority. After the XGMT written examination, there will be three rounds for the selection of candidates. The first round will involve a Personal Interview. The second round will be a Group Discussion. The last round will be a Writing Ability Test for candidates. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in every round of the selection process.

How much time will candidates get to complete the XGMT examination?

Candidates will get 120 minutes in total to complete their exams. Make sure all the sections are completed before the time limit of the examination to avoid missing out on questions.
