NLSAT 2023 Result 

NSLAT stands for National Law School Admissions Test. Every year NLSIU, Bangalore conducts this examination for admissions in their Law programmes like the LLB programme. This exam is a national-level examination for admission to one of the top universities of India because of their alumni and curriculum. According to recent notifications, the NLSAT exam will be conducted on April 30, 2023. 

The NLSAT exam is usually conducted in two parts A and B. The type of questions for these two parts varies from objective to subjective type questions. After clearing the written part of the examination, the selection process is followed by a personal interview round to know the personality of the candidate.

NLSAT Result 2023 Dates

For the selection process, you need to first check if you have cleared the written test. One will only move forward with his/her application if he/she clears the written part of the exam. When you will clear PART A of the examination, then only you will be shortlisted to give PART B of the examination. 

There are no official dates for the results of the examination. However, there is a tentative chart according to last year’s timetable.

How to Check NLSAT 2023 Result?

Checking results can be straightforward, you just need to follow these simple steps:

Step 1 Visit the official website of National Law School of India University Bengaluru i.e www.admissions.nls.ac.in/. You will see a notification for NLSAT Result 2023.

Step 2: Click on that notification and you will be redirected to a login page. Log in with your credentials i.e. your ID and Password. 

Step 3: You will then see a report of your marks and your ranks according to the categories too. Save this result and download it for future purposes. 

Details Mentioned on the NLSAT Scorecard

Checking the details on the scorecard while downloading is very necessary to avoid any future mistakes and errors. These are the details that are mentioned in the scorecard:

• Name of the candidate
• Father’s name
• Mother’s name
• Number of seats
• Group
• Photograph
• DOB
• Gender of the candidate
• Marks in every subject
• Total marks
• Rank in the exam and subjects

NLSAT Merit List

After the written exam of the NLSAT, the official body prepares a merit list following the results of the candidates for the counselling and admission process. There are usually three merit lists first, second and final merit lists. These merit lists may differ with time and on the parts of the exams it is prepared for.

Merit List 1: This is prepared based on Part A of the written examination. This is prepared right after Part B and qualifies candidates for the Part B of the examination.

The selection Ratio is 1:5 i.e 1 candidate gets shortlisted for every 5 candidates.

Merit List 2: This list is prepared based on Part B of the written examination. Students who get cleared based on the First merit list can appear for the Part B examination.

The selection Ratio is 1:2 i.e 2-3  candidate gets shortlisted for every 5 candidates.

Final Merit List: This list is prepared on the bai of the Part A and Part B examinations. Your Interview round questions are also considered in this list. 

The total selection is of around 60 seats who clear Part A, B examination and Personal Interview.
