LPU NEST Application Process
Candidates interested in LPU NEST 2023 can apply online and enrol themselves for the exam on LPU’s official website located at https://www.lpu.in/.
Candidates can follow the steps below to fill out the LPU NEST 2023 application form:
- Visit the official website of LPU mentioned above.
- Click on the ‘LPU NEST’ option which shall open a new tab.
- Complete your registration by entering your name and contact details.
- After successful registration, complete your application process
- Scan your documents, passport-size photo, and signature.
- Pay the application fee, which is INR 1000 for boys & INR 500 for girls.
- The application fee will be paid online only. No other mode of payment will be accepted.
- Submit your application form and a confirmation message will be sent to you by the LPU officials.

LPU NEST Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for LPU NEST 2023, candidates must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the university for candidates to take the entrance exam. The table below contains the eligibility criteria for LPU NEST 2023:

LPU NEST 2023 Exam Pattern
Similar to the syllabus, the exam pattern will also depend on the program. However, for illustrative purposes, the exam pattern for the B.Tech programme is given in the below table:

The duration of the written exam will be 2 hours 30 minutes (150 minutes).
LPU NEST Scholarship
LPU NEST Scholarship will depend on how well the candidate performs in the exam.
There are three scholarship brackets in total which are noted below:
- LPUNEST scores more than or equal to the Category I cut-off.
- LPUNEST score is more than or equal to the Category II cut-off.
- LPUNEST score is more than or equal to the Category III cut-off.
The demarcation of programmes has been done in three groups. The details of this demarcation are available on the official website. Scholarships for all programmes will be applicable as given in the table below.

LPU NEST Admit Card
Candidates who have successfully completed their LPU NEST 2023 application process can download their admit card from the official website of LPU at https://www.lpu.in/. The step-by-step instructions for downloading the admit card are as follows:
- Visit the official website o mentioned above.
- Click on LPU NEST Admit card’ and a new tab will open.
- Enter your registration number and date of birth to download your admit card.
- Your admit card will appear on the screen.
- Check all the details carefully and take a printout of it.
Candidates have to bring their admit card while appearing for the written test. Without the admit card, no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall.
LPU NEST Counselling
Counselling for each schedule of written exam of LPU NEST will be conducted online and seats shall be allotted separately for each round. The allocation of such seats will depend on the marks secured as well as the course selected by the candidate.
After the allotment of seats, selected candidates have to download their allotment letter and pay an initial fee for confirmation of their seat. Subsequently, once the documents submitted with the admission form are verified, candidates will need to deposit the balance fee.
