DYPCET Exam 2023

The DY Patil College of Engineering and Technology – School of Management conducts a common entrance test named DYPCET for admissions into their various MBA and BBA programmes. DYPCET 2023 Exam Pattern

The DYPCET 2023 exam pattern is set by DY Patil University. The question paper will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). It will comprise topics such as data interpretation, English language and quantitative reasoning. 

• The exam will be conducted in online mode (remote proctored). 
• The examination is generally conducted in two shifts. Morning (11:00 AM-12:00 PM) and Afternoon (3:00 PM to 4:00 PM).
• The students are advised to only carry their admit cards inside the examination hall. Try to finish solving all the questions 10 minutes before time and revise your answers thoroughly before submitting your paper

DYPCET 2023 Eligibility Criteria 

The candidate appearing for the DYPCET 2023 exam needs to follow certain eligibility criteria which are set by the university. The eligibility criteria are mentioned below: 

• The candidate must be a graduate of any field from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate or equivalent.
• The candidate who is applying for MBA in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Health & Hospital and Pharmaceutical Industry must have completed graduation with 50% aggregate from a recognised university or equivalent, but preference will be given to candidates from BSc, BTech, BPharm, MBBS, BHMS, BUMS, BAMS, BDS, B Nursing or equivalent.
• Candidates who are in their final year of graduation course can also apply for this entrance exam. 
• A 5% relaxation will be given to the candidates who belong to any reserved category. 

DYPCET 2023 Application Process

The candidates appearing for the DYPCET 2023 exam can fill out the application form on the official website. The application process involves steps such as registration, filling out an application form, submitting the mandatory documents and paying the application fee. It is advised to the candidates to check the official website for any other updates regarding the application process. Students can follow the following procedure while filling out the application: 

• The candidates can log onto the official website of DY Patil- School of Management and look for the option that says ‘DYPCET 2023’. 
• Students will be asked to register themselves first. They can do so by entering their basic details such as name, email ID, mobile phone number, etc.
• When the registration is successful, the candidate’s login ID will be created. 
• Students can use this login ID again and fill out their application form. 
• Once the application form is opened, students are supposed to fill in the mandatory details carefully and upload the documents that are required in their prescribed dimensions only. 
• In the end, the candidates are supposed to make the application fee payment via debit/credit card or net banking and submit it. Students can also take out a copy of the application form for their reference purpose.

DYPCET 2023 Admit Card

The admit card for the DYPCET 2023 exam will be issued before the exam is conducted. The admit card can be downloaded from the official website of the university. The candidates appearing for the examination can download it by using their login ID created at the time of registration. The candidates can follow the below instructions to download their admit card:

• Visit the website of DY Patil University
• Look for the login tab and click on the ‘Admit card’ option
• The candidate is supposed to enter his/her credentials i.e email and password which they created at the time of registration. 
• After doing so, the admit card will be visible. The admit card will have details such as the name of the candidate, ticket number, exam date, day, time, exam centre address, contact details, photograph and signature. 
• It is advised that the candidate should verify all the details mentioned in the admit card and download it for reference purposes. 

The candidate should be aware that the admit card window will be open for a limited period only and the admit card is a mandatory document to be presented at the time of the remote proctored test. No candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam without the admit card.

DYPCET 2023 Result

The result for the DYPCET 2023 will be announced on the date notified in the admission schedule. The results will be released on the website of the university. After the result, the institute will conduct Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Candidates who will qualify for DYPCET will be eligible for group discussion and personal interview sessions. Students can refer to the following steps while downloading their results:
