Galgotias University Management Aptitude Test (GUMAT) is conducted to intake students for MBA Programs at Galgotias University. The GUMAT Counselling Process is the last step in the admission procedure of the MBA Program. The university tests the students on various levels by setting a minimum score and the GUMAT Entrance Exam to finally get the desired set of students with great minds and aptitude towards management studies. Counselling Process for GUMAT

The GUMAT Counselling Process is the procedure to confirm admission to the MBA Program of Galgotias University. The candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria and have passed the cut-off score in the merit list released after the examination are invited by the university to come and confirm their seats in the program. 

The Counselling process is conducted offline where the candidates have to present their documents to the college authorities for the verification of documents, scores and candidature. The seat is confirmed once the course fee is paid. The annual fee for the MBA Program is INR 1,09,603.

GUMAT Counselling Process: Step-wise Guide

The steps of the GUMAT Counselling Process are not complex but the candidate should not miss out on the steps of the procedure to precisely go through the admissions and start the coursework. The step-wise process for the GUMAT Counselling Process is as follows. 

  1. The university releases GUMAT Results 2023. 
  2. The GUMAT Merit List and cutoff scores are also declared with it. 
  3. The candidates check the merit list and if they are eligible for admission. 
  4. The university emails the GUMAT counselling details to the selected candidates in the merit list with the date and time of the GUMAT Counselling Process. 
  5. The candidates prepare and arrange all their documents based on the list e-mailed by the authorities. 
  6. Appear for the GUMAT Counselling Process on the date.
  7. Submit the documents and their copies.
  8. Submit the first semester fees for the MBA Program. Take the admission receipt.

Is there any negative marking in GUMAT Exam?

No, there is no negative marking in the GUMAT Examination. The examination has 100 questions each of which every question has a weightage of 1 mark.

Does Galgolitas University accept any other scores than GUMAT for MBA Programs?

Yes, Galgolitas University accepts other scores like CAT, MAT, XAT, GRE, GMAT, CMAT and KMAT than GUMAT for MBA Programs.

Can apply for GUMAT Exam with 60% marks in graduation?

Yes, the candidates require at least 50% marks in the graduation final year to be eligible to apply. The graduation could be in any field.
