• Ever since its inception, DIKSHA has been adopted throughout India by all states, union territories, and boards. 
• It is developed on the basis of the Strategy and Approach Paper for the National Teacher Platform.

Features of the DIKSHA Portal 

Here are the key features of the DIKSHA portal:

• QR Code: Students or teachers can use the QR codes on their NCERT books to get related information about the topics they wish to study. 
• Multi-language support: The portal currently supports over 36 languages such as English, Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, Bengali, Gujarati and so on.
• Location-based: The Digital Infrastructure for Knowledge Sharing is location-based. For instance, if you set Delhi as your location, the portal will ask for a sub-location and then display the courses accordingly. This gives users a unique experience specifically tailored to their preferences. 
• Class-based: To customize your experience, the DIKSHA portal allows students to choose a class whose study material they need to access.
