Q- A single world culture is being created due to modern technology. Do you agree or disagree?
A- From the time when he painted a herd of mammoths on the cave walls to the present, when he can communicate with people on the other side of the world, man has undergone many changes throughout history. The world’s living standards are fast shifting, leading to the emergence of a unified global culture. New technologies, such as the Internet, television, electronic media, and modes of transportation, have a significant impact on the emergence of a shared culture on a global scale. I’ll state my arguments in favour of my position below.
First of all, email and the Internet have transformed interpersonal communication. There were numerous advantages to the Internet. It is a new method of communication that allows for quick access to news and information. People converse with one another, sharing thoughts, joys, and challenges. We have a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the histories of many nations.
Second, fast travel between locations is made possible by modern modes of transportation. It was unthinkable a few centuries ago to picture waking up in one place and going to sleep in another.
Finally, due to everything discussed above, the distinctions between nations and their customs and practices are blurred. People move around a lot throughout their lives. Some of them are seeking a better location to call home, while others are seeking pleasure, unique experiences, and knowledge. As a result, many families are formed between residents of many nations. Traditions merge, change into new ones, or just disappear.
In conclusion, the way people live nowadays is greatly influenced by modern technology. Traditions and distances will no longer be as significant in the emerging single-world civilization.
