Early Life and Education of Bani J
Bani J was born and brought up in Chandigarh and rose to fame when she participated in reality show MTV roadies. She completed her education at Woodstock International School, Mussoorie, Uttarakhand followed by a degree in Graphic Designing. She was always a part of sports throughout her school life but her actual fitness journey when she was 19 and living and working in Bombay as a VJ. She joined a gym and never looked back. Now she defines training as important as breathing!

Breaking the Norms
When a man looks muscular, people appreciate it, but people start to rail against her when a woman does. Bani J faced a similar problem when she started in the industry. She was often body-shamed because of her muscular physique and was also called manly many times by social media people. Bani definitely knows how to fight back; she shuts trolls and channels her energy into her workouts. She doesn’t need any approval from anyone. Bani started working out to see her potential and strength; she wanted to be strong physically and mentally. This is something all women should adopt in their life. It’s ok with the way you look as long as you are happy!

Born and brought up in Chandigarh, Bani J’s mother fought cancer and was a single parent. Tanya J fought with cancer thrice but didn’t show her weakness in front of her daughters and always supported them. She once revealed in an interview that her mother used to go to the gym and yoga sessions and always eat healthy because she was trying to stay fit as she was battling cancer. Bani’s sister was also a national-level tennis player. Now you know where she gets her strength from? It’s in her genes!

Fitness Freak
We all know that Bani J is an Indian fitness model and shares her workout videos on her social media handle. Not just this but she is also the brand ambassador of Mobiefit and was also a part of the Mobiefit workout series. Bani started working out at the age of 19 when she was living in Mumbai. She feels her day is incomplete without a good round of workout; it changes her attitude towards life. In a youtube video, Bani once shared a message to the nation, “ Everybody should be involved in some movement every single day. I have been doing it for years & can’t imagine my life without it; It’s difficult for me to take a rest day.”
Breaking Stereotypes
Bani J was often criticized for her tattoos, her different hair colours, piercing, and muscular physique. Casting directors and producers always told her to change the way she looks. Bani J was rebellious and didn’t change a thing about her. Seeing this, people started to appreciate Bani J’s looks and she started landing some amazing roles. She has done some amazing movies and series like Four more shots!, Zorawar, Ishqeria, and many more!

Bani J is a fitspiration to the nation, flaunting her body, motivating her to stay fit & acting, acing Umang’s role, who is Bisexual in the series, or supporting the LGBTQ in real life. She started her career with MTV roadies although, she didn’t win the show. She hosted many seasons after that. Bani was also a part of Bigg Boss season 10 & secured her place as the first runner-up. Bani J was also part of shows like Khatron ke Khiladi, MTV unplugged, Nach Baliye. Bani was last seen in Four more shots, please! Which received Best Comedy Series nomination for an International Emmy.
