The University of Adelaide was created in 1874 with two parallel goals: to educate new generations of leaders who would be differentiated and defined by their education rather than their birthplace or fortune and to question traditional norms that stifled progress or reinforced inequity. The Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency has accredited all of the University of Adelaide College's courses (TEQSA). The College is also accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

Infrastructure, Campuses and Courses

The University of Adelaide College is the University of Adelaide's preferred pathway partner, offering students specialised pathways to undergraduate study at the University. Students seeking an alternative entry pathway to a bachelor's degree at the University of Adelaide (degree transfer programme) as a result of not achieving the required grade, students who do not meet the high school (Year 12 or equivalent) standard to begin tertiary education at the University of Adelaide (Foundation Studies programme), and students who require additional subjects, such as Specialist Mathematics and Statistics (knowledge gap subjects).

Accomplishments and Alumni 

The University of Adelaide College is ranked first in Australia for Overall Student Satisfaction in the 2020 Australian English Language Barometer (ELB), which polled 15,000 students. The College also received second place in the categories of Arrival (orientation and pre-arrival information) and Living (campus environment, extracurricular activities, and housing), and third place in the category of Learning (teaching and curriculum). The university’s list of achievements is unending. It has a prestigious network of alumni all across the world.
