Study in UK: University of Portsmouth SEGG Scholarship Applications Open for International Students

The University of Portsmouth School of the Environment, Geography and Geosciences (SEGG) Scholarship is available to self-funding international students. This Master’s Scholarship is open to students from all nationalities for the September 2024 entry. Interested students must meet the academic requirements to be eligible. Moreover, they must accept the offer letter from the University before Friday 28 June 2024. Submit the scholarship application before the same deadline. SEGG Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criteria for the University of Portsmouth School of the Environment, Geography and Geosciences (SEGG) Scholarship are as follows: 

• Must be an international student who is self-funding his/her education
• Additionally, the student must have obtained a first or upper second (2:1) from your Bachelor’s degree 
• The applicant must also accept an offer letter into a Master’s program before Friday 28 June 2024
• Moreover, the applicant must be enrolling in an eligible program \

SEGG Scholarship Eligible Programs 

The eligible programs for the School of the Environment, Geography and Geosciences (SEGG) Scholarship are as follows: 

• MSc Geological and Environmental Hazards
• MSc Engineering Geology
• MSc Crisis and Disaster Management
• MSc Environmental Geology and Land Contamination
• MSc Coastal and Marine Resource Management
• MSc Geographical Information Systems

SEGG Scholarship Application Process 

The University of Portsmouth considers candidates holding a 2:1 or 1st score for the SEGG Scholarship. The decision will be based on the highest GPA score. The scholarship benefit is a 50% tuition fee discount. However, the scholarship amount cannot be combined with any other scholarship. The successful applicant will be notified by  Friday 5 July 2024.
