Study in UK: Applications Open for University of Roehampton Music Scholarship 2024-25 

The University of Roehampton is offering music scholarships to undergraduate and postgraduate students for the academic year 2024-25. Both international students and the UK students can apply for the award. The scholarship benefit is an amount of up to  £1,200 a year. The award covers the expenses of lessons/courses or purchasing the relevant equipment. In return, the music scholar has to enhance the cultural life of the university. This can be done by giving performances, and being available for events chosen by the college Heads. This scholarship is available to students from all departments. The deadline for the scholarship is 15 August 2024 for the students starting their studies in September this year.

The eligibility criteria for the University of Roehampton Scholarship is as follows: 

• The applicant can be a UK student or an international student
• Must demonstrate musical aptitude and their commitment to engage in the musical life at the university along with successful academic progression
• Moreover, the applicant must be willing to contribute to the musical life of their college

University of Roehampton Music Scholarship Benefits 

The successful applicant of the University of Roehampton Music Scholarship will receive the following:

• Around  £1,200 per year cash scholarships annually on the degree the applicant has enrolled 
• Guidance and support from the Director of Music 
• Additionally, opportunities to perform and collaborate with other musicians are given 

Interested students must first apply to an undergraduate or postgraduate course of study at the university. Next, they must fill out the application form for the scholarship. Additionally, they must prepare 5-8 minutes of music performance (video/perform live). The music can be of any style or genre. Lastly, they must accept the offer letter to study at the university. An undergraduate student will have to keep the University of Roehampton as their first choice.
