Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal visited Canada for an official meeting with his Canadian counterpart Mary NG. Upon discussing, they both came up with academic topics. 

As per reports, Goyal discussed mutual recognition and dual degrees as per the educational qualification and benefits for the students.

The Indian commerce minister also considered seeking investments from Canada. He also sent invitations to Canadian business persons so that they can participate in the growing journey of the Indian economy. 

He stated that the Indian government is not only paying close attention to the higher quality standards of foreign education but also to the delivery of proper services and goods.
