The New Zealand Excellence Awards (NEZA) is open to Indian students for the academic year 2023-24. The scholarship offers a variety of award options from NZD 10,000 to NZD 20,000 (INR4.94 lakh- INR 9.88 lakh) per student. The Education New Zealand and New Zealand’s 8 universities are jointly providing this scholarship. Moreover, these universities are ranked in the top 3% of universities in the world. The NZEA scholarship offers students an opportunity to study at world-class universities in New Zealand. Interested students must apply for the same before the deadline. The last date for submitting applications is 15, October, 2023.
New Zealand Excellence Awards Eligibility
The New Zealand Excellence Awards eligibility criteria can vary on the basis of the university the student is applying to. However, the general eligibility criteria are as follows:
- Applicant must be at least 18 years of age and must hold an Indian citizenship
- Additionally, the student must meet the academic requirements of the university.
- The student must meet the English proficiency requirement of the university
- Moreover, the student must meet the immigration requirements of the New Zealand government to get a student visa.
