Study in UK: King’s College London Partners with Burdett Trust to Launch Postgraduate Scholarships for Nursing Students

The King’s College London has partnered with the Burdett Trust for Nursing to provide scholarships for the nursing students. The scholarships will cover tuition fees and the living expenses of the postgraduate nursing students for the academic session 2023-24. The aim of the scholarship is to develop the research capacity of the students and to inculcate in them leadership skills required for their profession. 

The Burdett Trust will name the winners of the scholarship as the Burdett Fellows. International students and students from the UK, and US are eligible to apply for the scholarship. The deadline for the same is  31st May,2023.

King’s College London Postgraduate Scholarship for Nursing Students: Benefits

The scholarship scheme assists the Burdett Fellows to pursue one relevant program from the King’s College London.The university grants mainly two scholarships, one for a home student (a student from the UK) and the other for an international student, for the eligible courses MRes Clinical Research, MSc Palliative Care, and MSc Clinical Nursing. 

The home student will be given  £10,250 per annum along with the university fees for the full time programme. Additionally, an international student will be granted £17,425 per annum. Moreover, the fees for the university program will be provided to the student. Thus, tuition fees and living expenses are provided.

King’s College London Postgraduate Scholarship for Nursing Students: Application Process

The application process for the King’s College London Postgraduate Scholarship for Nursing Students are as follows:

• Moreover, interested students need to complete the online application process for the following courses -MRes Clinical Research/MSc Clinical Nursing/ MSc Palliative Care 
• Additionally, a student has to submit a personal statement explaining the reason they have applied for the scholarship. Therefore, benefits of the scholarship will also come under it.
• The scholarship committee will call the shortlisted applicants for an interview to discuss their reasons for joining the program, research interests, and the benefits of the scholarship.
