Study in South Korea: SeoulArts University Adopts New Admission Process, Opens New Doors for International Students

For the spring 2024 semester, the Seoul Institute of the Arts (SeoulArts) will start accepting applicants from abroad. Scholarships will be given to applicants who received one of the top three entrance scores. Interested students must check the eligibility requirements before applying for admission.

By welcoming a diverse student body, the institution seeks to foster cross-cultural collaboration, enrich artistic perspectives, and facilitate the exchange of creative ideas.

Eligibility For International Students 

Candidates must be foreign nationals or have completed their elementary, middle, and high school education in foreign institutions in order to apply through the international admissions route.

However, international students must demonstrate their Korean language ability by earning a TOPIK level of 3 or higher and finishing intermediate level 1 or higher at the King Sejong Institute.  Or this can be done by finishing level 4 or higher at a Korean language school run by a university.

Furthermore, non-Koreans who completed their high school education in Korea are free from the Korean proficiency requirements, although they are still required to achieve TOPIK level 3 within a year after enrolling.

Scholarships For International Students 

Moreover, scholarships are offered to international students by Seoul Arts University to study in South Korea. Students with one of the top three admissions scores will be offered scholarships. 

The student having best admissions score will receive total funding. The student who scored second-highest will be given 75% of the tuition fee. Lastly, the student who scored third-highest will be given 50% of the funding.
