Study in Ireland: Applications Open for UCD Global Excellence Scholarship 2024 

University College Dublin (UCD) Global Excellence Scholarship are open to international students for the academic year 2024. These scholarships are available to Non-EU tuition-paying students starting a course in September 2024.  Several Global Excellence Scholarships are available to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. To apply, the student must have received an unconditional or conditional offer letter to study at an eligible course. The benefit is either a 50% or 100% reduction in tuition fees. However, the scholarship deadlines vary depending on the region. The Non-Eu undergraduate students must apply by 31st March.  The deadline for the graduate students (South Asian Region) has passed.  The results of the scholarships are announced 5 weeks after each region’s deadline.

UCD Global Excellence Scholarship Eligibility 

The eligibility requirements for the UCD Global Excellence Scholarships are as follows:

• Must meet the citizenship and residency requirements provided by the University.
• Only self-funding non-EU tuition fee status can apply
• Additionally, the student must have been enrolled in an eligible undergraduate or graduate programme 
• However, those enrolling in an online programme, part-time programme, clinical programme, or offshore campus programme can apply
• The applicant must have already received an offer/conditional offer letter/unconditional offer letter/accept 
• Students who are progressing from a UCD International Foundation Year (IFY) to a UCD programme are also ineligible
•  Applicants must submit the scholarship application by the Global Ex Scholarship application instructions
• Moreover, the student cannot combine this scholarship with any other scholarship.

UCD Global Excellence Scholarship Application Process

The application process for the UCD Global Excellence Scholarship is as follows:

• First, visit the official website of the university and log in to the existing online application account 
• Under the My Application section select the option ‘ scholarship application”
• Next, Click on ‘Global Excellence Scholarship’
• Lastly, answer the questions asked and submit the application form

The Global Excellence Scholarship results are announced 5 weeks after the deadline. A student who has applied for multiple programmes must indicate which programme they want to study.
