- The scheme is only for those students who have received an offer letter from the university or who possess the highest academic ability
- Social commitment, financial need, and lack of resources to study a degree in their own country are also major selection criteria

How to Apply?
The following are the steps to apply for this scholarship:
- Before applying the candidate must check the eligibility criteria
- To register for the scholarship, the candidates should visit the official website
- The candidate must complete the registration process by providing the required information to obtain the login credentials
- The candidate will be sent a link to verify their profile
- Next, use the login credential to log in to the application portal
- Click on the “apply for starting the application”
- Fill out all the required information accurately and click on the “save” button to save all the details
- Finally, submit the application form, all application is email approved and provided with an online receipt
Note the application for 2023 is closed. The selection process for the application applied by 8 February 2023 will be undertaken in March 2023

The following are some important points to consider before applying:
- Students will be required to write an annual report on their academic performance, social activities, and achievements at the university
- The award receipt in the subsequent years is subject to academic progress
- If an applicant holds a deferred offer letter and wishes to apply for the scholarship, they can apply for it in the month of January of their intake year. Applications for undergraduate scholarships will be considered once.
- If the applicant is a UK resident pursuing Oxford’s Astrophoria Foundation Year Programme and wishes to apply for the scholarship, they can apply for it in the month of January of their intake year. Applications for undergraduate scholarships will be considered once. Students will be contacted when they are enrolled for their Foundation Year to confirm the scholarship they wish to apply for in their undergraduate course of study
