Things to Consider For PTE Rescore

Before requesting rescore, students or working professionals, visualising a future abroad, are advised to take the following details under consideration:

For PTE Academic Test

  • Overall PTE score is unlikely to change as it is a Computer-Based Test (CBT).

  • In case of a score change, the new score will replace the original one.
  • Pearson allows one rescore request per test registration.
  • Candidates can request score changes on their latest PTE Academic test.
  • Rescore is not permitted in case a working professional or student has already registered for another test.

For PTE Home A1, A2, and B1 Tests

  • PTE Home A1, A2, and B1 tests are also computer-scored tests, owing to which change in the overall score is unlikely.
  • Any change in the PTE score will be reflected in the PTE score report of the applicant.
  • PTE rescore request can be made for the recent test.
  • The conducting authority permits one request per PTE Home test.
  • A request for a score change cannot be made if the candidate has registered for another PTE test.
