PTE Exam 2023 Latest Updates

PTE Academic Exam is conducted every year, in October 2021 it was notified by PTE that candidates can also choose to go for PTE at Home. Examinees can apply for PTE at Home on the official website of PTE. From 16 November 2021 onwards the booking for PTE at Home has started. 

The PTE Exam guidelines have been reconsidered after the outbreak of Covid-19. The home exam is possible with particular amenities like stable internet, camera, microphone, and computer system. The exam duration is also reduced by an hour. The exam was for 3 hours and has been redesigned for 2 hours. The pattern and number of questions have also been changed.

PTE Exam 2023 India Dates

In a single month, several test dates are available for the test. These dates are specific to particular exam centres within a particular country, state, or city. Every city that is chosen for PTE has various test centres that are equipped with all amenities needed for the test. The test centres operate under the guidelines of Covid-19 precautions. The test centres are operating under limited capacity due to lockdowns. 

The candidates willing to apply can check the availability of test centres on Pearson’s website. The choice of test centres can be based on proximity to the place of residence or the dates that are available in a particular test centre. A candidate should ideally book their PTE Test at least 2 months before the first admission deadline of their chosen university.

To look for an ideal test centre, the PTE Test takers should visit Pearson’s website and look for the ‘PTE centre near me’. Citywise test centres with their complete address help in calculating the distance from the candidate’s place of residence. The candidates once registered should also check the exam centres mentioned on their admit cards.
