LNAT Test Dates for Late Applicants: 2025 (for International Students)

The LNAT exam test dates for late applicants for entry into university (2024-25 LNAT cycle for entry in autumn 2025) are as follows. The late applicants are only accepted from international students. Moreover, late applicants must note that the university you are applying for might not accept the LNAT exam score.

How Much is the LNAT Exam UK?

The LNAT test dates cannot be booked without paying the fees. The registration fees for EU and non-EU students, like Indians, are different. The registration fees are provided below for your reference:

LNAT Test Dates and Preparation Tips 

Here are five things you need to keep in mind while applying for the LNAT examination. These preparation tips will be useful for anyone wanting to sit for the exam.

  1. If you want to study at Oxford University or Cambridge University, you must meet the January deadline as late applications are not accepted.
  2. Do not miss the registration deadline to book for the test. The earlier you apply, the more likely you will get the date of your choosing.
  3. If you are a late applicant, you must contact the relevant university before submitting the UCAS application. This is because a UK university doesn’t need to accept your application mandatorily.
  4. Know that you can only sit for the exam once between September and July. Those who sit for the exam twice will have their second exam results invalidated.
  5. The officials do not recommend that you pay for LNAT coaching. It’s your choice. You can view the structure of the LNAT exam and prepare accordingly. The exam consists of 42 questions and is held for 2 ½ hours.

Best Time to Book Your LNAT Exam for 2026

Those who book their LNAT exam for the January 20, 2026, session are given a range of 1-hour windows throughout the day. For example, 09:00, 10:30, 12:00, 14:00, etc., local centre time. A morning person can choose the earliest slot, like 09:00 or 09:30. If you function better during the daytime or if you are not fully alert in the early morning, you can choose the mid-morning slot (10:30–12:00).

While choosing the right time slot, consider the time it will take to travel to the test centre, your morning routine, and the time you will take to recover after giving the test (as exams are mentally draining). Ideally, you should book the first or the second slot-09:00–10:30 local time)

How to Cancel the LNAT Exam 2026 Registration After Booking?

The LNAT examination registration can be cancelled. However, the repayment of the application fees is subject to when you are applying for cancellation. Just like there are LNAT exam dates, there are LNAT cancellation times. It is provided below.

To cancel your registration, log in to your LNAT account l (via Pearson VUE), and go to the ‘’My Bookings’’ section. Thereafter, you can choose to ‘’Cancel Test’’, and proceed to cancel your examination.  Refund is not provided in any case.

What LNAT score is required for Oxford?

Oxford University requires you to score at least 29 or higher in the LNAT exam. Only this will grant you admission to the law school. It is important to note that only 2% of the applicants to Oxford were able to score above 34.
