With the help of Ian James Evans scholarship, the University of Essex’s Essex Law School in the UK supports both undergraduate and graduate students studying law. One scholarship of £9,660 (about INR 9, 62,000) will be provided by Essex Law School to a postgraduate student pursuing an LLM in international human rights law. Students must prove that they are experiencing financial hardship.
The first year of study for new undergraduate LLB students at Essex Law School must start in 2023–2024. UCAS applicants must formally state their preference for Essex by July 31st, 2023. A candidate is not automatically qualified if they join Essex after having their first-and-only choice pick rejected somewhere else. Direct Applicants may accept their offer up until July 31, 2023.
Eligibility to avail Ian James Evans Scholarship
To avail Ian James Evans Scholarship the candidates for the undergraduate scholarship must be wheelchair users or deaf or blind. The scholarship is worth £9,250 (about INR 9, 21,000) and covers tuition fees in the UK (or an equivalent discount for international students), as well as £500 (around INR 49,800) per year for books and other course expenses. It is available to applicants for undergraduate LLB programmes.
