Q 1. Many parents will take away a child’s phone as punishment for bad behaviour. Do you support or oppose this idea? Explain why.

Ans: In my opinion, confiscating a child’s phone as a disciplinary measure may offer short-term control but is ultimately counterproductive. The phone serves as more than a mere gadget; it’s a tool for education and social connection. Depriving them of it disrupts their learning and social interactions unfairly. Moreover, this approach fails to impart lessons on accountability or responsibility, potentially breeding resentment. Instead, utilizing this opportunity to teach responsible behaviour is crucial. Engaging in open dialogue with the child, understanding their perspective, and collaboratively finding solutions not only resolves the issue but also strengthens the parent-child bond. Therefore, I vehemently oppose the notion of punishing children for misbehaviour by confiscating their phones.

Q 2. Describe your favorite teacher. What qualities did you respect most?

Ans: My favourite teacher is Mr Sharma, my high school English teacher. His unique teaching style brought literature to life, fueled by his infectious passion for the subject. Patient and adept at simplifying complex topics, he ensured every student could grasp them. Mr. Sharma fostered critical thinking and encouraged the confident expression of ideas.

What I admired most was his unwavering dedication. He stayed after school to aid struggling students, going the extra mile with kindness and approachability. His commitment to students and love for teaching left an indelible mark. Beyond English, Mr. Sharma imparted invaluable life lessons on hard work, perseverance, and pursuing passions. His influence continues to inspire me in my academic journey.
