About SWE Scholarships

SWE is a non-profit organisation that works for the welfare of women who work in the IT and Engineering Department all across the country. The headquarters of SWE is in the United States and it has over 40,000 members and over 60 collegiate groups.

SWE started providing Scholarships for women who are pursuing their studies in Engineering Majors but are unable to do so. The total amount and number of scholarships granted are variable.

Documents Required For Application

• 2 Letters of Recommendation (LOR) one is a faculty reference and another is a personal preference.

Selection Criteria 

Different from any other Scholarship, the selection is based on your merit i.e your academic performance and your participation in extracurricular activities with an outstanding enthusiasm to pursue engineering as your career path.

The selector will have a detailed analysis of your application form, your history in your educational institutions and your participation and volunteering in extracurricular activities.

The number of scholarships to be granted also impacts the selection of candidates.
