The Life of Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ was considered the son of God and the Saviour. He served humanity and dedicated his entire life to serving for poor and needy. During his life on earth, he performed miracles and healed the sick, gave sight to blind people, walked on the sea, cleansed the leapers, and did much more to reduce the pain of needy and poor people.
Apart from all the miracles, the most important is that he even brought the dead people back to life and forgave the sinners. Jewish Priests and some other communities were against Jesus as they were unable to understand the behaviour of Jesus Christ towards sinners but despite his anti-people, he continued to tell people that his work was aligned with God’s will so “that the Father may be glorified in the Son”.

Jesus Christ was born in 6 BC – 4 BC in Bethlehem, Judea, south of Jerusalem. His birthday is celebrated every year on 25 December as Christmas Day. It is believed that Jesus was born from the virgin womb of Mother Mary with the blessings of the Holy Spirit. When Jesus took birth on earth many angels and signs appeared to pay their respects to Jesus Christ.

The story was Jesus Christ starts with the birth of Jesus Christ. In a small town named Nazareth, a Jewish girl Mary married Joseph. One night, Gabriel the angel visited Mary and told her that she was a kind girl loved by God and she would have a baby named Jesus who would be considered the son of God.

At the age of 12 years, he was into learning. There were five major milestones in the New Testament narrative of the life of Jesus. They are his Baptism, Transfiguration, Crucifixion, Resurrection and Ascension.
Baptism, Ministry, and Miracles
At the age of 30, he walked many miles to reach the river Jordan where he was Baptized by John the Baptist. Jesus began preaching in Galilee and gathered disciples. After which he was referred to as Jesus Christ. During his public ministry, he performed many miracles, cured the sick, gave sight to the blind, calmed storms, and even raised the dead. These miracles, documented in the Gospels, the proof of his divine nature and ability to bring hope and healing to the suffering.
Soon after the death of John the Baptist, he initiated his journey towards Jerusalem as he predicted his death there.
Crucifixion
He devoted his entire life to serving the poor and needy and forgave the sinners. Many people were against his beliefs and were angry with him because he taught unfamiliar things and showed compassion towards sinners.
According to the Gospels, Jesus Christ was arrested by the Sanhedrin, an elite council of priestly and lay elders. They dragged him before Pilate. He was accused of blasphemy (saying something disrespectful to God) by the Jewish leaders.
When Jesus Christ was killed by his people he believed that he was fulfilling God’s will and cried out that God might have mercy on them.
Resurrection
Resurrection of Jesus is the Christian belief that God raised Jesus from death. It is believed that three days after the death of Jesus he rose from the tomb.
