The next G20 summit in 2024 is decided to be conducted in Brazil in the city of Rio de Janeiro. It would be the 19th meeting of the G20 group. The President of Brazil Hon’ble Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva will Host the upcoming G20 summit. G20 is a group of 19 countries and the European Union that conducts a meeting to discuss on topics that could uplift the economy of the countries as a whole.

G20 Summit 2024: Overview
As per an estimate, the next G20 Summit hosted by Brazil will take place from 12 July 2023 to 14 July 2023. A shift in the event dates could be expected till the authorities release the final dates.
The countries will continue discussions on topics related to climate change, finance, sustainable infrastructure, and many such topics that directly or indirectly affect the country’s economy.

G20 Brazil Summit 2024
It would be the first time that Brazil would host the G20 meet since the formation of the group in 1999. São Paulo hosted a meeting of G20 Finance Ministers in 2008. In 2023, India is hosting the G20 meeting in New Delhi from 9 September 2023 to 10 September 2023 at its newly constructed Pragati Maidan cultural center named Bharat Mandapam inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India Hon’ble Narendra Modi.
