Dear Prerna,
I hope you and your family are in great health. I am good too. It has been a long time since we met, and I was missing you, so I thought of writing a letter to you.

Yesterday, I went out to get some groceries and other household items at a nearby market. As you know, we are currently in our village because of my father’s transfer. So, initially, I thought that there wouldn’t be many good markets here as it is a village, but to my surprise, there is a great village market nearby. It is not just any market, it is a market that has everything available. There are many shops for groceries and other kitchen items that have almost everything a city market would have.

Then, there are plenty of clothing shops too. To my surprise, there are shops of well-known brands too such as “Levis”, “Reliance trends”, etc. Even some electronics shops have the latest tech products available, ranging from flat-screen TVs to Bluetooth speakers. I am very surprised to see that the village market has developed so much.

The next time you visit me, I will take you to that market and we will shop together. When you get time, call me and we will plan an outing together. Till then, take care and give my regards to your parents.

Your loving friend
Urmila.
