50-B, 2nd Floor Laxmi Apartments, Patparganj, Delhi-110092 10 October 2023      Dear Rishi,  I hope you and your family are in great health. It has been a long time since we last met. I was just thinking about that time of lockdown when we couldn’t meet for months. Everything at that time came to a halt. But what was surprising was that the education system did not stop. It all shifted to online mode.      All our school classes were going online on Google Meet. This new online system was different from the traditional one. Although it was very convenient, I could take my classes from the comfort of my couch. There was no limited recess and there was minimal interaction with teachers. Although convenient, I still preferred traditional classes because of the difficulties and challenges of online classes. In that online mode, it was difficult to understand topics easily, since there was minimal interaction with teachers, and asking and solving doubts became difficult. Also, there were plenty of technical difficulties such as video lagging, audio not being clear, poor connection on either side, etc. All of this made online education difficult.      I am glad it is all back to normal now. And we can go to our schools. I miss you because it has been a long since we even spoke on the phone. When you get time from your schedule, call me. Format of How to Write a Letter to Your Friend Telling Him about Online Classes During Lockdown     

Recipient’s Name Recipient’s Address Dear (Recipient’s Name), Introduction Start the letter with a “Dear ABC” and maintain a genuine tone.  Body For the body of the letter, mention about the lockdown, mention what challenges you are facing during the online classes, etc. Whatever your purpose is for writing the letter, cover it properly. Include instances, experiences, etc, and make it interesting. (Use a conversational tone.) Closing End the letter on a friendly note. Add text like “Take Care”, “Talk to you soon”, “See you soon”, etc.  Signature Conclude the note with a polite salutation.
