2. Severe Flooding Hits Assam and Manipur: Six rivers in Assam and Manipur, including Brahmaputra and Barak, are flooding. Brahmaputra River in Jorhat is 0.29 metres above the danger level, while the Barak River in Imphal East district threatens surrounding communities at 3.95 meters above the danger level.

3. Supreme Court refuses the plea of re-polling in Bihar: The Supreme Court has denied a petition for re-election in Bihar’s Munger constituency. Kumari Anita, an RJD candidate, requested re-polling in 45 booths following allegations of booth capturing by JD(U) workers. However, the Supreme Court did not entertain this plea, and the case was dismissed.

4. BITSAT Session 1 result postponed to June 4:  The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani has rescheduled the result of BITSAT Session 1 2024 for June 4, which was originally scheduled for June 1. Furthermore, applications for BITSAT 2024 session 2 are open until June 8.

5. Assam gets the Northeast’s first AI teacher, ‘Iris’: India’s first artificial intelligence teacher, ‘Iris’, is introduced in Assam, leaving children in awe. The robot’s ability to teach made learning more enjoyable for children while also showing superior modern technology. Iris is India’s first artificial intelligence teacher, initially presented in a school in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. 

6. DGCA issued notice to Air India for flight delays: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) issued notice to Air India for flight delays. The notice was issued after some passengers fainted during the waiting hours in the sizzling heat of Delhi without air conditioners.

3. BTS announced its 11th Debut anniversary: The most loved K-pop band, BTS announced their annual Festa celebration as they will celebrate their 11th Debut anniversary this year. BTS was formed on 13 June 2013.
