CBSE 12th Result 2024: Check Result and Download Marksheet @cbse.gov.in

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the CBSE 12th Result 2024 in May 2024. The CBSE Class 12 result 2024 will be available on the official website- cbseresults.nic.in, and cbse. nic.in To check CBSE 12th Result 2024 students can use their admit card roll no, DOB, the center, and school number. The passing criteria for CBSE Class 12 exams is that students must secure an overall 33% (including internal assessment and Class 12th Board examination) in all the subjects.

The CBSE 12th Result 2024 will also be released on the newly launched examination portal ‘Pariksha Sangam’. CBSE 12th board students can check their respective results by entering their important details such as date of birth, roll number, school number, etc., in the login window.

Last year, the Board released the CBSE Class 12 Result 2023 on May 12, 2023.

How to Check the Results For Class 12th?

Students can get their class 12th CBSE result in the following ways:

Check the Result by visiting the Official Site

Students can check their CBSE class 12th result 2024 online at results.cbse.nic.in or cbsegov. in

 by following the instructions below:

Step 1: Students must visit cbse.gov.in/ results.cbse.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the ‘CBSE board results’ link on the homepage.

Step 3: On the new window, click on the ‘CBSE Class 12 result 2024’ link.

Step 4: Enter the required credentials like Roll number and Date of Birth (DoB). Click on the submit button.

Step 5: The CBSE Class 12 results will appear on the screen.

Step 6: Keep a copy of it for future reference.

Check Results via SMS

To check the CBSE result 2024 class 12 conveniently, students are also given the option to check it by sending an SMS through their registered mobile number on 7738299899, in the given format: CBSE12, Roll No., DOB, school number, center number.

Check Results via Digilocker

To get the class 12th mark sheet from DigiLocker, students can visit the website — cbseservices.digilocker.gov.in/activatecbse for the initiation of their account confirmation process. Students must note that they must require a PIN to download their marksheet from the app. How do you get it? To strengthen the security and privacy of the student data, the PIN has been introduced. The PIN will be provided by their school, if not received, students will have to contact their school. The PIN will be a numeric value.

Steps to check CBSE 12th Result 2024 via IVRS or call

IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) is rolled out by CBSE so that students can get their class 12 result 2024 through a call by dialing this number- 24300699. Students just need to add the area code before calling this number. The call would be charged at 30 paisa/minute for a single roll number

How to calculate the percentage of CBSE Class 12th Result 2024

The marks in the five main subjects are to be added and divided by 5. For example, the marks of the five main subjects are mentioned below: 

Subject 1: 80

Subject 2: 85 

Subject 3: 87

Subject 4: 92

Subject 5: 95

Step 1: The total marks: 80+85+87+92+95= 439

Step 2: Divide it by 5

439/5 = 87.8

Passing Marks for 12th Result 2024

Students must obtain the following minimum passing marks for the CBSE Class 12th exam 2024 for theory and practical exams:

Re-totaling of Marks 2024

• Students who discover an error in their CBSE 12th exam can request that their marks be re-totaled.
• Students must fill verification application form online on the official website.
• Once the application form is submitted, the board re-checks the answer sheets for totaling errors, missing out marks while totaling, or unchecked/ unmarked questions.
• After re-checking, the board will share the result with the students and allow them to request a photocopy of their re-checked CBSE Class 12th result 2024.

Revaluation or Rechecking of Class 12 CBSE Result 2024

The online portal to register for re-checking/ re-evaluation will be activated in July.

• The portal will remain active for 2 -3 days
• Students must pay a re-evaluation fee of Rs 100 per question to register online. The fee is non-refundable
• Any changes in the marks will be reflected in the final CBSE 12th Class Result 2024
• The CBSE 12th result 2024 declared after re-evaluation will be considered final
• No further appeal against the re-evaluation will be entertained.

CBSE Class 12 Result 2024: Reverification, Re-evaluation, and Mark Sheet Photocopy Fees

To apply for CBSE 12th results verification, the students need to pay Rs 500 per subject. Whereas, the students who want to apply for re-evaluation have to pay Rs 100 per subject. Also, the students have to pay Rs 700 per answer sheet to apply to get a photocopy of CBSE Class 12 answer sheets.

CBSE Board conducts compartmental exams annually for Class 12th students. CBSE compartment exams are conducted for students who fail to clear one or two subjects in the first attempt. Students can check the compartment results on the official website once it is announced.
