- The applicant must be an Indian national studying in Class 6 to 12 in a recognized educational institution in India.

For students of general undergraduate courses
- The applicant must be an Indian national enrolled in an undergraduate degree programme such as BCom, BSc, BBA, etc. in a recognized institute in India.
- The applicant must have passed Class 12 with at least 60% marks.
- The applicant’s annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 4,00,000 (4 lakh) from all sources.
For students of professional undergraduate courses
- The applicant must be an Indian national enrolled in a professional undergraduate degree programme such as Engineering, Medical, Law, etc. in a recognized institute in India.
- The applicant must have passed Class 12 with at least 60% marks.
- The applicant’s annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 4,00,000 (4 lakh) from all sources.
Note: The employees of Tata Capital & Buddy4Study children are not eligible for this scholarship.

- Register yourself on the portal by providing your name, email, mobile number, and password. You will receive an OTP on your mobile number to verify your account.
- Login to the portal with your registered email and password and start filling out the application form. You will need to provide your details, academic details, family details, bank details, etc.
- Upload the required documents in PDF or JPEG format. The documents include an Aadhaar card, passport-size photograph, mark sheets, income certificate, bank account details, etc. The size of each document should not exceed 2 MB.
- Review your application form and check all the details carefully. Agree to the terms and conditions and click on the “Preview” button. You can edit your application if you find any errors or discrepancies.
- Submit your application by clicking on the “Submit” button. You will receive a confirmation message and email on your registered mobile number and email ID.
