Objective of the Sewa International Scholarship
The main objective of the Sewa scholarship scheme is to provide financial assistance to meritorious students who belong to economically weaker sections of minority communities. This would provide them with better opportunities for education, enhance their employability rate and increase their attainment rate in the education spectrum.

Important Details
- The scholarship will not be offered to more than two students of the same family
- In case of any violation of the council discipline or any other terms and conditions specified for the scholarship, the scholarship program of that student will be cancelled
- If found false statements were to obtain the scholarship, it will be cancelled and the expenses will be recovered from the student
- The scholarship can be renewed during the next academic year of the candidate provided that the student has scored 50% in the previous year’s final examination
- The duration of the scholarship is for the academic year and shall be provided for the tuition fees only for the whole course
- Evaluation of the financial and physical performance of the scheme will be completed after assigning evaluations to the reputed institutions and agencies of the Council

Eligibility Criteria
Given below are the eligibility criteria for the scholarship:
- The candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent in their previous final examination.
- The annual income of the parents/guardians of the students does not exceed Rs. 2.00 Lakh.
Documents Required
- A self-attested copy of the community certificate for students of the age of 18 years. Else a parent/guardian certified community certificate
- Income certificate issued from the Competent Authority in the State/UT Governments
- Students must submit their Aadhaar card number while applying for the scholarship

- Before applying the candidate must check the eligibility criteria
- To register for the scholarship, the candidates should visit the official website
- The candidate must complete the registration process by providing the required information to obtain the login credentials
- The candidate will be sent a link to verify their profile
- Next, use the login credential to log in to the application portal
- Click on the “apply for starting the application”
- Fill out all the required information accurately and click on the “save” button to save all the details
- Finally, submit the application form, all application is email approved and provided with an online receipt
Selection Procedure

- The number of scholarships available for minorities is fixed every year and is limited as well. Thus, there are a few preferences for the selection process.
- For inter-selection weightage, the preference will be given to poverty rather than marks. In this case, the candidate is required to submit an income certificate
- In case of the same income, the merit criteria will be used including the Date of Birth
- For renewal cases, there is no merit list generation. Renewal is possible if one has scored 50% in the previous final examination
