IPMAT 2024: Latest Update
As per the latest update, the IPMAT admit card 2024 will be released on the official web portal by 10th May 2024, tentatively. The examination is set to be conducted on 23rd May 2024. Candidates should further note that the IPMAT scores will be accepted by multiple IIMs, offering admission to management programs.
What is IPMAT Exam?
IPMAT is a 5-year integrated program offered by IIM, Indore. The examination is followed by a Personal Interview round (PI). Candidates will be given Bachelor of Arts (Foundation Management) and Master of Business Administration by IIM Indore at the end of the foundation programme. The integrated course is broadly divided into Phase 1 and Phase 2. Let’s look into the details of both phases one by one henceforth:
Phase 1
Phase 1 of the IPMAT program covers the first three years of the programme. Candidates are required to complete a social internship along with classwork at the end of the program.
Phase 2
The second phase of the programme mainly focuses on business management. Candidates are required to complete a business internship between the fourth and fifth years along with classwork.

IPMAT 2024: Exam Pattern
The IPMAT exam is conducted online and candidates need to complete around 100 questions. The question format will be MCQ (Multiple Choices Question) type. Refer to the table below for more details:

IPMAT 204: Eligibility Criteria
To take part in the IPMAT examination, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the exam authorities. We have briefly mentioned the IPMAT eligibility criteria for your reference below:
Educational Qualification
- A higher senior secondary exam or its equivalent must have been passed by all candidates.
- Candidates from the general category must have received at least 60% in their senior secondary school certificate and higher secondary school certificate, or an equal score, to be considered for the minimum qualifying marks.
- There is a 5% relaxation for candidates from other categories, such as SC, ST, and PWD.
Age Limit
To be eligible for IPMAT, candidates in the general category must have been born on or after June 30, 2004. Candidates who fall under the SC, ST, or PwD categories, however, are granted a five-year waiver.
IPMAT 2024: Application Process
Candidates can easily fill out the IPMAT application form and register for the examination. The steps to fill in the application form are as follows:
- Visit the official web portal at www.iimidr.ac.in.
- Click on “Register for IPMAT 2024” and confirm the login credentials.
- Log in again and fill out the IPMAT application form 2024 using the received login credentials.
- Upload the required documents to complete the procedure.
- Pay the required IPMAT application fee for 2024.
- After completing your application form, keep a printed copy with you safely.

IPMAT 2024: Admit Card
The admit card for the IPMAT examination will be released tentatively in the first week of May 2024. Candidates who have successfully registered and applied for the IPMAT exam can find their admit card on the official website. Candidates must pay the application fee in order to download their IPMAT admit card. The steps to download the IPMAT admit card are shown below:
- Go to IIM Indore’s official website.
- Complete your IPMAT registration and submit the required application fee.
- Log in by entering your user ID or application number and password.
- The IPMAT 2024 admit card will show up on the screen after you click the admit card link.

IPMAT 2024: Answer Key

IPMAT 2024: Result
A provisional shortlist of the IPMAT results for 2024 will be made available for candidates. The candidate’s scores and percentiles for each section of the IPMAT paper are mentioned on the IPMAT scorecard. In addition, candidates who want to withdraw their admission offer can do so by notifying IIM of the withdrawal date.
IPMAT 2024: Selection Process
After the IPMAT exam results, candidates are shortlisted based on a Personal Interview (PI) in the first stage of the selection process, the second stage is conducted. Candidates will be admitted to the Integrated MBA program on a final merit list determined by their performance in both the Personal Interview (PI) and their results of the Aptitude Test.

For domestic candidates, the seats for IPM are 150. As per the government of India, the reservations for each candidate are mentioned in the table below:

The IIM Indore has officially announced the commencement of the IPMAT application process. Candidates willing to seek admission to a 5-year integrated program in management are encouraged to fill in the application form between February 14 and March 26, 2024.
IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak are IIMs that have already started the IPM and there is no confirmed IIM that will start IPM in 2024 except for IIM Rohtak.
Candidates should be born on or after June 30 and you must be under 20 years by June 30, 2024.
