How to Select IPMAT Exam Centres 2024?
Candidates are advised to choose their preferred IPMAT exam centres and cities during the registration process. Here are the steps candidates to follow for choosing IPMAT 2024 test cities:
- Register for IPMAT 2024: Go to the official website and complete the registration process.
- Log in: Utilize your given registration ID and password to log in and access the application form.
- Fill out the Application Form: Provide the necessary information in the application form.
- Select IPMAT Test City: Guide to the IPMAT test city section and select the cities where you would prefer to conduct your exam.
- Preference Order: Choose the selected cities in the order of your choice, telling your priority.
- Make Payment: Complete the fee payment process associated with the application.
- Submit the Form: After carefully examining the details, submit the application form.

IPMAT Exam Center 2024: Required Documents
Students must carry the required documents with them on the exam day. The candidates who fail to assemble the necessary documents at the IPMAT exam centre on the exam day will not be permitted to sit for the exam. Therefore, candidates must keep these documents handy before coming to the exam centre. The documents needed at IPMAT exam centres on the exam day are as follows:
- Valid ID of the Candidate
- IPMAT Admit Card 2024
Students must have printed multiple copies of their IPMAT Admit Card to have backups of the same. Candidates can use either their Voter ID, PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Passport, UID, Driving License, Employer ID, or College ID (must be supported with a valid debit/credit card), as valid identification proof at the IPMAT exam centre.
IPMAT 2024 Exam Day Guidelines
Students must maintain a clear mindset on the IPMAT exam day for optimal performance. Candidates should also make sure that they have all the important documents for a smooth verification process at the exam centre. Candidates must observe the guidelines mentioned below on the IPMAT 2024 exam day.
- Aspirants are recommended to arrive at their assigned exam location at least one hour before the exam.
- To avoid last-minute mess, students who are new to the area make sure they go and check the exam site a day before the exam.
- Additionally, candidates must make sure to bring their IPMAT 2024 admit cards to the exam centre location.
- Candidates without admit cards will not be allowed to enter to the exam room.
- Avoid bringing any electronic device like cell calculators, phones, watches, etc.
- Food will not be permitted inside the exam room at the IPMAT exam centre.
- Candidates must not use unfair methods, or attempt to be disqualified from taking the IPMAT test.

Candidates who have completed their Class 12 exams (or appeared in the same year) from a recognized board are qualified to apply for IPMAT. There is no precise stream that is required (Science, Commerce or Arts), although some weightage might be given to specific subjects depending on the IIM.
The correct dates for application forms, exams, and results differ each year. It is most useful to check the official websites of IIM Rohtak and IIM Indore and for the latest information.
IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak will conduct IPMAT exam. However, no official notification has been announced about other IIM’s conducting IPMAT exam in 2024.
