KIITEE Eligibility Criteria 2023 

Here’s a detailed KIITEE Eligibility Criteria that would help you know whether you’re eligible for KIITEE 2023 or not. Make sure you read this specific section properly so that you don’t face any misconceptions. 

Undergraduate Courses

For B.Tech:

  • The candidate must have scored good marks in their 12th board. Additionally, they need to provide a passing certificate from their recognised board. 
  • Candidates must aim to score no less than 60% marks in their class 12th or equivalent examination. 
  • The candidate must have had Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics in their class 12th exam. 
  • The candidate should be born on or after the date 01/07/2002. 
  • Candidates who will be appearing in the 12th exam can also fill out the application form for this test. 

For B.Arch:

  • The candidates must complete their 12th exam from a reputed board. 
  • Candidates below the age of 17 years and above the age of 35 years aren’t eligible for the exam. 
  • The marks of the candidate in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths need to be more than 50%. 

Postgraduate Courses 

For MCA:

  • The candidate must be holding a graduation degree from any reputed institute or university. 
  • The marks of the candidate in graduation or an equivalent level of education should be more than 50% along with having Maths as a subject. 

For M.Tech:

  • The candidate needs to be a Bachelor’s degree holder in technology and engineering with a first-class or an equivalently good CGPA
  • Candidates who have a GATE scorecard can also apply for the exam. 
  • Candidates with due final year exams can also apply. 

Exam Pattern of KIITEE 2023 

This is one of the most important things you should know. Here is the exam pattern you need to know about KIITEE 2023:

  • Exam mode: The examination will be held through the online portal or online mode (CBT). 
  • Question pattern: There will only be MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions)
  • Medium: The questions will be in English. 
  • Marking criteria: 4 marks will be given for every right answer. 
  • Negative marketing: 1 mark will be reduced for every wrong answer.

KIITEE Application Process 2023

As you’ll be applying for the KIITEE exam 2023, make sure you check the application form or process stated below:

  • The application form for the KIITEE exam has been released on the official website https://kiitee.kiit.ac.in/applynow/ from 10th December 2022. 
  • Make sure you enter all the relevant as well as essential pieces of information such as education and personal details, email id, etc. 
  • Make sure you upload the scanned image of your photograph and signature while filling out the form. 
  • You might or might not receive a chance to make corrections to your application form after successful submission.

KIITEE 2023 Admit Card 

The KIITEE Admit Card were eleased by the KIIT deemed to be university on its official webite for the exam. The admit card for KIITEE 2023 exam were available from April 2023. One could only collect the admit card through the online portal. The admit card for KIITEE contained all the valuable information such as your name name of the father, exam centre, examination date, exam time, etc. 

To download and see the admit card, you needed to use your password as well as the application number. Candidates were suggested to keep a printout of the admit card so as to use it during exam time.

The KIITEE Phase 1, 2 and 3 Results have been released on the official website. Candidates were required to enter their “Aplication Number” and date of birth (DOB) in order to see/download their results. The result of the candidate will depend on their performance in the entrance exam. Keep in mind that a merit list will also be created for different subjects.

KIITEE 2023 Cut-Off 

The cut-off of KIITEE 2023 will be declared once the results are out. The rank of the cut-off will be given to the students as per the seat availability of the university and the overall ranking of the student. Depending on the cut-off and your ranking, you can get admission to KIIT University.

KIITEE Counselling 2023

The KIITEE counselling and seat allocations will be based solely on candidate’s performence in the exam. The counselling schedules for all three phases of the exam were published on the official website to help candidate prepare themselves and take required steps on priority.

It must be strictly noted that the KIITEE counselling for all three phases will be stopped immediately once all the seats are filled for the said courses.

Therefore, candidates are advised to be available for their respective rounds of counselling to not miss a seat for admissions to their desired courses at the KIIT deemed to be university.

On the day of counselling, the shortlisted candidates will be required to bring a certain set of documents. The documents will be re-verified on the spot on the day of counselling. candidates must take a note that – if any of the documents woukd be found not aligning with what was claimed earlier during the application process, the candidature of the candiadte will be rendered cancelled. Thereby, candidates must bring the following documents on the day of counselling:

  1. A printout of the KIITEE scorecard.
  2. KIITEE 2023 Admit Card
  3. Class 10th passing certificate
  4. Class 12th passing certificte and mark sheet.
  5. Mark sheet and passing certificate of graduation for the following courses: MCA, MCA (LE),M.Sc. (Biotechnology/Applied Microbiology)
  6. BTech, BE, MCA, MSc or an equivalent degree certificate
  7. For lateral entries, candidates must bring a Diploma passing certificate along with th three years’ mark sheet.
  8. As per the reservation criteria, an appropriate certifiate must be brought signed by the concerned authority of the state/centre.
  9. For MTech, the GATE qualified candidates must bring their GATE score cards.
  10. Candidates must bring a Demand Draft (DD) worth INR 75,000 in the name of “KIIT, payable at Bhubaneswar“. The break-up for the said amount includes INR 10,000 as the counselling fees and the rest will contribute to the cademic fees of the chosen course by the candidate. The counselling fees is non-refundable. Candidates must submit the rest of their programme fee on the day of reporting to the prescribed college campus.

KIITEE Spot Counselling 2023

Candidates who have not appeaed in the counselling sessions of any of the three phases for KIITEE can still try their luck at getting a seat in the esteemed istitution’s lucrative courses by participating in the spot counselling. Candidates must bring the same documents mentioned in the above section for the spot counselling.
