The CLAT Exam Centres 2025 list is out now. The Consortium of NLUs conducts the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) exam at various examination centres. Also, the consortium has recently added Diu (UT of DNH & DD) and Silvassa (UT of DNH & DD) as new CLAT Exam Centres on 9 November 2023.

Below is the list of the CLAT Exam Centers for the year 2025. Last year the consortium added two new cities to this exam center list. Documents to Carry to the Examination Centre

Below is the list of important documents that must be carried to the examination centre. It is important to carry as you will not be allowed to enter the centre without these documents.

  • PAN Card
  • Photo identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer on official letterhead, along with a photograph.
  • Photo identity proof issued by a People’s Representative on official letterhead, along with a photograph.
  • Valid recent Identity Card issued by a recognized College/ University
  • Passport
  • Driving License
  • Voter’s ID Card
  • Aadhar card with a photograph/ Employee ID/ Bar Council Identity Card
  • Bank Passbook with a photograph

Important Exam Day Guidelines

Here is a list of some important instructions that must abide by on the day of your examination. Make sure you follow these instructions to avoid any last-minute hustle at the examination centre. To be on the safer side, make a list of these points and tick them before leaving the house for your exam.

  • Make sure you have your admit card and all the other documents required for the CLAT exam. Don’t forget them!
  • Leave all the electronic items at home like Phones, calculators, and other electronic items.
  • Make sure you reach at least half an hour before the time given on the admit card. This will help you to avoid rushing and settle comfortably at the centre.
  • DO NOT CHEAT, if you help others with the answers or seek their help for writing the answers, it may lead to disqualification. So do not use any tactics to cheat in the examination.
  • Make sure you read the question twice and understand it well before attempting it.
  • Also, do not forget to go through your answer sheet twice before submitting it finally.
  • At last, stay confident and attempt your answers well.

How to Choose the Exam Centers?

You need to follow the below-stated steps to choose the examination centre for the CLAT exam. Make sure you follow each step to successfully choose the CLAT centre of your choice.

  • Firstly, you need to log in to your CLAT account.
  • Now, tap on the ‘Edit Application’ button.
  • Further, click on the ‘Preferences’ tab.
  • Now, choose or update the 3 exam centres of your choice.
  • Tap the Next button and proceed toward the ‘Reservation’ tab.
  • Finally, scroll down to tick the declaration, and hit the Submit Form button.

CLAT Exam 2025 New Exam Centers

In the list of CLAT Exam Centres, there is an addition of two new centres for the CLAT exams. Both exam centres are listed down below. You can choose the exam centres by following the above-mentioned steps.

  • Diu (UT of DNH & DD) 
  • Silvassa (UT of DNH & DD)

These have been recently added on 9 November 2023 to the CLAT exam centre list.

CLAT Admit Card 2025

All the students who have filled the application form for CLAT 2025, will be issued the admit card 2025 in the online mode. The admit cards will express the CLAT exam centres that are allotted to each student. There will be a detailed address of the examination centre on the admit card.

CLAT Exam Centre Allotment Process

The CLAT exam centre allotment process goes like this, candidates are given the option to choose their exam centre preferences at the time of filling CLAT application form. You can select a maximum of three test centres when you are choosing the exam centres. The allotted exam centres are mentioned on the CLAT admit card.

Documents To Carry To a CLAT Exam Centre

Following are the documents that are required to carry to the CLAT exam centre. Please note that carrying these documents to the exam center is important as missing any of these documents may lead to the cancellation of your exam.

  • Admit Card.
  • ball Pen (Blue/black)
  • Government Issued Photo ID (Original and Photocopy)
  • Self-health declaration.
  • Mask, Hand gloves, and as required for COVID precaution measures.
  • Disability certificate (If Applicable)

Guideline To Follow at a CLAT Exam Centre

Below are the important guidelines that need to be followed by students on the day of their examination. Following these guidelines may lead to ease in giving the exam at the centre. Read the instructions below.

  • You can enter the building starting at 1:00 pm.
  • You can’t enter the exam room after 2:15 pm.
  • The test is 2 hours long, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
  • Only bring what you need for the test: your admit card, a valid ID, and a black or blue pen.
  • Dress comfortably in clothes with short sleeves. Avoid big buttons, so you can’t hide any notes underneath.
  • Be on your best behaviour and follow all the instructions from the test administrators.
