The following are a few of the tests that applicants must pass before enrolling in any teacher preparation program:
The CTET is a national-level entrance test that is administered by the Central Board of Secondary Education. This exam may be administered twice a year. Exams are offered at two distinct levels. Candidates who want to teach grades 1 through 5 should complete Level 1, while those who want to teach grades 6 through 8 should complete Level 2.
This test is given annually and is administered by multiple boards. A candidate may submit an application for admission to the program if he or she passes the test.
The TET Exam is divided into three levels-
- Level 1 is for teaching grades 1 to 5 (PRT)
- Level 2 is for teaching grades 6 to 8 (TGT)
- Level 3 is for post-graduate teaching level. (PGT)
