What is the Full Form of NIPUN?

The full form of NIPUN is National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy. The National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy (NIPUN) Bharat was introduced nationwide by the Ministry of Education in July 2021. The NIPUN Bharat program was started to help kids at the end of third grade acquire fundamental skills by the year 2026-2027.

• Lakshyas have been created for grades Balvatika through 3.
• The Lakshyas are based on institutional research, ORF studies, and learning outcomes created by NCERT.
