What is the Full Form of ESI?

The ESI full form in medical is Employees’ State Insurance. Why medical? It’s because ESI is mainly a health insurance programme that concentrates on providing financial and medical assistance to employees, along with their families. There are 11 medical colleges at present, and the Government of India is in the process of planning and constructing 12 more ESI colleges in the country. The admission of students in these colleges is based on marks secured by them in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG).
