International education providers in Western Australia are eligible to apply for grants totaling up to $50,000 for each familiarisation programme. WA providers can seek to receive up to $50,000 in grant support for each familiarisation programme through the $1 million International Education Familiarisation Program. Through training, networking, site visits, and travel opportunities, the programme will give important foreign stakeholders the chance to experience  WA directly before promoting the State to potential international study abroad aspirants.

Numerous programmes will be made available to support international education providers and students thanks to the Western Australian Government’s $195 million Reconnect WA Plan, $77 million Safe Transition Industry Support Package, and additional boost of $41.2 million announced in the 2022–23 State Budget. These consist of: International Student ELICOS Bursary, International Student Housing Subsidy, Scholarships, a scheme to incentivize agents, and familiarisation courses.

Foreign students are encouraged to study, live, work, and travel in Western Australia.
