Kyiv Medical University of UAFM is one of the superior medical universities of Ukraine which was established in the year 1992 by Dr. Pokanevich Valerity. This university is the oldest private medical university in Ukraine and has trained approximately 10,000 students from all fields. It is located in the capital city of Ukraine - Kyiv, 33.5 kilometers from the international airport. It has a high level of accreditation through the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and the degrees are issued under the banner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine or the Embassy. Kyiv Medical University ranked 147th among 313 universities in Ukraine in 2022.

Infrastructure, Campuses, and Courses

Every year almost 300 Indian students get their degree from Kyiv Medical University. Apart from this, the teaching techniques of this medical university are extraordinary while offering the latest medical technology and surpassing infrastructure. Kyiv Medical University has two campuses - one is on the Kyiv campus and another one is the Kharkiv campus.  It delivers the following courses to the students who come from different destinations - MBBS courses for six years, Dentistry for five years which is offered by KMU, and lastly, there is a one-year preparatory course for international students. Courses are taught only in the English language, and the degree is recognized all over the world.

The teachers who teach in this university are well-qualified and professionals who strive hard to make the future of the students who want to become doctors, anesthetics, etc. The university is also registered under the AVICENNA directory with the University of Copenhagen in collaboration with the WHO. The top features of Kyiv Medical University are the low cost of education as compared to other universities and a strong foundation of research and development.

Student Diversity and Visiting Companies

Every year, around 2,600 students make their future with the university and get placed in top companies or organizations. The university sends its students to Germany and Poland for training and internship. It has received recognition from IMED, the Medical Council of Canada, ECFMG, and MCI. Because of all of these recognitions, students from Kyiv university are qualified to work or practice medicine in the US, Canada, India, and other countries around the world. Through our collaboration with numerous renowned medical institutes, we have been able to conduct joint research programs and provide maximum benefit to our students through our student exchange program.
