Established after a generous endowment by a wealthy merchant, Ferdinando Bocconi, Bocconi University was brought into existence in 1902 in Milan. When it was founded, Bocconi University was the first in Italy to offer a degree in Economics, while today, the University has grown to become one of the major nodes in the European and global network of Business and Economics universities. A private research university with an international standing, Bocconi offers courses that address the research and academic needs of the European and global economy. The University was originally affiliated with the Politecnico di Milano Engineering School and incorporated a teaching model that was based on what was in use at the École Supérieure of Antwerp. Presently, Bocconi holds the Triple Crown Accreditation - AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA - and is affiliated with CEMS, CFA, Italian Association for Management Development (ASFOR) and European Association for Public Administration Accreditation (EAPAA). Bocconi University ranks at #577 in Best Global Universities, #244 In Best Global Universities in Europe and #31 In Best Global Universities in Italy according to USN.
Infrastructure, Campuses and Courses
