VU Access Scholarships
VU Access scholarships are for those students who are enrolled in all teh fields of study in the TAFE and university areas. You are eligible for the scholarship if you are:
- Australian citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, New Zealand citizen, holder of a Permanent Humanitarian Visa or holder of a Temporary Protection Visa.
- Experiencing financial hardship demonstrated through receipt of a means-tested Commonwealth income support payment or other evidence of low income and/or social disadvantage
- Enrolled full-time, except in exceptional circumstances.

VU Western Chances Scholarship
This scholarship is also for the students who face financial difficulty while carrying their professional education. The university offeres thi scholarship only to the studente who are:
- Students must be Australian citizens, NZ citizens, Permanent Residents of Australia, holder of a
- Bridging or other Temporary visa or holder of a Permanent Humanitarian Visa;
- Students must meet the criteria listed on the Western Chances website:

- Students must be enrolled full-time* (Unless the applicant has an approved Disability Access Plan) in a
- Commonwealth Supported Place in an undergraduate degree;
- *Full-time enrolment in a HE course is equal to at least 75% of a full-time load – minimum 36 credit points per semester;
- Scholarships cannot be deferred or intermitted for the first semester of the student’s first year of the degree.

INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIPS👨🎓
Victoria University also allows international students to study pressure free and apply for a scholarship at the university. These scholarships are being offered to those students who have brilliant academic qualifications and who take active part in postgraduate research programs in Australia. The scholarships will be offered on the basis of your academic merit. There are various scholarships for which you can apply under this scholarship, two most popular are stated below.
Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend Scholarships – International
This scholarship is offered to the students on the basis of academic merit and research potential. This scholarships includes a living allowance of $33,000 per year (2023 rate)
an RTP Fee Offset Scholarship exempting the recipient from paying tuition fees.
However, this scholarship does not cover the following cost:
- English-language testing
- bridging programs or English-language programs
- travel costs from overseas.
Industry Supported scholarships
This Industry Supported scholarships is to support the studies of teh international students. This particular scholarship is funded by the Australian Government Research Training Program.
The scholarship includes annual stipend, overseas student health cover, an RTP Fee Offset Scholarship exempting the recipient from paying tuition fees.
However, this scholarship does not cover the following cost:
- English-language testing
- bridging programs or English-language programs
- travel costs from overseas.
