Study in UK: UCL Global Masters Scholarship 2024 Application Opens 

University College London is offering a Global Masters Scholarship to international students. The scholarship is available to postgraduate-taught students on the basis of financial need. The aim of the scholarship is to encourage students from low-income countries to pursue full-time Masters at the university. The scholarship benefit is an amount of £15,000 for the duration of 1 year. A total of 85 scholarships are available. Out of these, 5 scholarships are available to Indian students. The deadline for the scholarship application is 7 May 2024. Interested students must apply for the scholarship before the deadline.

UCL Global Masters Scholarship 2024 Eligibility

The UCL Global Masters Scholarship 2024 eligibility criteria are as follows:

• Must be eligible as an overseas fee-paying student
• Moreover, the applicant must come from a low-income background
• Must have submitted the application for a full-time MA degree at UCL for the academic year 2024-25
• Distance learning students and students from the UK are not eligible.

UCL Global Masters Scholarship 2024 Benefit 

The UCL Global Masters Scholarship benefits are as follows:

• A scholarship amount of £15,000 is available for postgraduate students. However, the postgraduate program must be for a duration of 2 years. In this case, the scholarship will be paid 50% each year.
• The amount will first be applied to the tuition fees. The remaining amount will be payable in 3 installments to the student towards maintenance.
• It is possible to combine the UCL Global Masters Scholarship with any other scholarships, awards, or bursaries received by the student.

The student funding office will recommend applicants for the UCL Global Masters Scholarship 2024 based on their financial needs. The deadline for the scholarship is 7th May 2024, and they expect to release the results by late June 2024.
