The University of Leeds is offering a few scholarships to international students. The scholarships are meant to financially assist students to complete their education at the University. However, the benefits, eligibility criteria, and the deadline of the scholarship vary.

International Excellence Scholarships 2024
The University of Leeds International Excellence Scholarship is one of the most prestigious scholarships. The scholarship aims to enable students to fulfill their academic potential and contribute to the socio-cultural diversity of the student community. Therefore students from several disciplines can apply for this award. For example, Arts, Humanities and Cultures, Engineering and Physical Sciences, Environment, Biological Sciences, Medicine and Health, and the Leeds University Business School. The scholarship benefit is a 50% reduction in tuition fees for commencing students at the university.
Tetley and Lupton Scholarships 2024
Tetley and Lupton Scholarships 2024 is available for students wanting to pursue full-time taught Masters, Masters of Research, and Masters by Research degrees. A total of 5 scholarships are available for 1 year. However, applicants must hold a 1st degree at the undergraduate level equivalent to at least a UK First Class Honours degree to be eligible for the scholarship. Note: it is a fee-only award of up to £26,000.
Sports Scholarships
Every year the university offers sports scholarships to high-performing athletes from all backgrounds. To become eligible for the scholarship, the student must be competing in BUCS, Olympic, Paralympic, or Commonwealth sports. The benefit is Premium membership at The Edge (sports facility), Nutritional support, Performance Gap Analysis service (Sports Scholars only), Performance Lifestyle mentor, and Professional development support, among others. However, a tuition fee discount is not available.
